Mission Statement

morning

At Netley Christian Fellowship we seek to take seriously our Lord's command to "Go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." (Matt. 28:19-20).

As Jesus Christ left the glories of heaven to show mercy to us, we must endeavour to see that message of hope widely spread in this world. "As the Father has sent me," Jesus said, "I am sending you." (John 20:21).

The gospel is good news which must be heard: "And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?" (Rom. 10:14)

Prayer is vital; for ourselves as we witness and also for God's kingdom to be established in other parts of the world. Jesus asserts: "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field." (Matt. 9:38).

Through the regular preaching and visits from missionaries members of the congregation are challenged to be involved with mission outreach in this country and abroad.

As a church Netley Christian Fellowship is particularly committed to supporting prayerfully and financially various individuals and missionary groups.
